FOR the past dozen years, Rotary and East Coast Radio have joined hands to spread joy over the festive season, providing under privileged families with food in the period that their children are on holiday.

“Normally some of the children will receive a meal at school, which is often the only meal some children have. This year Amanzimtoti Rotary gathered 112 food parcels. One parcel can feed a family of six for six weeks. The value of one food parcel is R600, which totals to R67,200 in donation,” Rotary’s Aneska du Pont said.
