Rib marinade

A sweet, sticky, spicy and smoky marinade to plunge your ribs into.

Preparation time: 30 minutes

Cooking time: 20 minutes

2 kgs ribs
2 cup tomato sauce

¼ cup honey

¼ cup brown sugar

½ cup Worcestershire sauce

¼ cup soy sauce

¼ cup vegetable oil

¼ cup lemon juice

2 red chillies, finely chopped

Combine all the ingredients and whisk well.

Pour over the ribs and allow to marinade for at least 30 minutes and up to 3/4 hours before braaiing.

You could also put the ribs in a 180°C oven for 15-20 minutes.

Makes enough marinade for 2kg ribs.
