AS the year draws to an end, our thoughts turn to our loved ones who have died, or to those who are ill and unlikely to see another year through.

“Your support is important to us as it enables us to continue the free palliative nursing care for the people who are suffering from life-threatening illnesses in the huge community we serve.
People are encouraged to support Hospice by purchasing a light or two, which could be in memory of a mother, father, child, family member, a friend, colleague, a beloved pet or just to give thanks for the joy of being alive,” Khanya Hospice CEO, Neil McDonald said.

People can also write a message to the loved one and hang it on the tree.

Lights will be on sale at our Hospice shops and for those who are unable to get there, electronic payments can be made to Khanya Hospice, Standard Bank account 058 287 4060, branch code: 057 627, reference “Tree of Light”, your name and contact number.
Hospice can also be contacted on Hospice @scottnet.co.za or 083 597 8985. - Supplied.
