THIS year Toti hosted its third Santa’s Toti Fair, a unique market selling amazing Christmas gifts. The market was well supported by locals and organisers, Des and Madeleine Jacobs, are looking forward to growing this initiative in the future.

The market ran from 11 December, 2015 to 6 January, 2016 and saw the initiative drawing many return customers.

“The market started with 15 exhibitors and this year we had over 40 exhibitors,” said Des.

“Locals also brought their visitors and many paid us return visits,” he said.

The market was in the Kuswag School Hall, which Des said, is the ideal location with ample, secure parking.

Exhibitors came from all over the country with popular contributors from the Cape, where the Jacobs’s initiated the market initiative, bringing a whole container with them.

Popular items were homemade rusks and biscuits, second-hand books, clothing, jewellery, furniture, toys and décor.

The new addition, a fast-food outlet also fitted in well with the market, who many agree has become their one-stop Christmas shop.
