AMANZIMTOTI Sports Centre (ASC) established in 2009, consists of the whole of Hutchison Park and Illanda Wilds up the Toti River.
“We continue to strive to make it a park we are proud of. We want to provide the best possible facilities, in a clean and safe environment for our sports enthusiasts. At the same time we hope to create an environment for the public to enjoy social and recreational activities.

“In creating a sustainable park, all funds generated are reinvested back into the park. ASC manage the booking of the sports fields and assist the parks department in maintaining the fields and facilities.

“ASC raise funds through the use of the ASC function hall in Lords and Legends. Funds are required on an ongoing basis, to consistently maintain and upgrade areas at Amanzimtoti Sports Centre.”

Some projects that ASC are busy with include security, putting up and fixing lighting and camera’s to ensure safety of all who visit the sports centre, fencing, secure areas around the sports centre, lighting of fields and car parks, for the oval, rugby and soccer fields, so that matches and practices can take place after dark.

The Amanzimtoti Sports Centre (ASC ) functions hall is available to rent, for all types of functions - conferences, weddings, birthdays, parties and events.
Hall fees for an all-day function (VAT included) are from 1 January – 31 October from 9am to midnight, R1 000 and from 1 November – 31 December, 9am to midnight, R2 000 and hall fees for a day function (VAT included) are from 1 January to 31 October from 8am to 4pm, R350 and from 1 November to 31 December from 8am to 4pm, R450.

We have been taught that we need three meals a day in order to make it through the day and while most of us indulge in more than our fair share there is a large portion of South Africans who are living off barely enough to sustain them.
