10 arrested after Nyanga kill

Ten people were arrested on Monday morning for murders committed over the weekend, Nyanga SAPS have confirmed.

According to the police some were arrested after they allegedly stabbed a 42 year old man several times.

“The victim was found on Sunday morning lying with several stab wounds in front of a house at Siyahlala Informal Settlement in Browns Farm.

Three other suspects were caught for stabbing 24-year-old Odwa Lingeni in the early hours of Sunday in Lusaka, Nyanga. The victim was rushed to hospital but died on arrival,” said Captain Ntomboxolo Sitshitshi.

A 24-year-old suspect and his friends was arrested after allegedly shootingt Andipile Siwgiji, 21.

A tenth suspect was caught on Monday morning after the man he assaulted passed away.

All ten suspects are expected to appear in Athlone Magistrate Court today.
