It will be a bumper affair when the Warrior Woman hosts its second annual conference dubbed ‘Turning The Tide’ followed by a gala dinner at the Parow Civic Centre Minor Hall on Saturday November 7.

The conference which starts at 8:30am will see sought after speakers like Mrs Bulelwa Koyana, Ms Zodidi Booi and Pastor Bernice Thomas share their wisdom.

The conference will be co-hosted Warrior Woman founder Dr Fay Nqoloba fondly known as Ma Fay and Dr Coleen Synman.

Warrior Woman is a non-profit organization led by international motivational speaker, Dr Fay Nqoloba.

It was officially launched in 2014 in response to the ongoing struggle with women abuse and lack of true women empowerment.

“We were touched by the rising of numbers in divorce thus producing more broken families. We discovered that the root of these in society are linked to unemployment especially of the youth and women,” said Dr Nqoloba.

She said their work touch on many issues like the increasing numbers of early childhood pregnancies, overflowing prisons with youth and early substance abuse that has become a norm in our country.

Ma Fay has been active in church leadership since 1978, she founded a number of gospel groups, ministered in prisons and different spheres of the community and had served the SAPS in different leadership positions.

“My vision is to see the people and the country rising to become solutions and I hope that empowered people will stop dreaming and start having visions instead,” she told City Vision.

She said at Warrior Woman they believe that everyone has a part to play through active involvement in the upliftment and empowerment of individuals and communities,” she said.

The fun-filled gala dinner starts at 6pm and is expected to end at 9pm. There are very limited seats and you advised to booky your spot to avoid disappointment.
