A young doctor intern Nolupho Mpho Makwetu with a passion of sharing knowledge will start a book club to nurture the culture of reading amongst women.

The Site B born Mpho who studied medicine in New York is currently interning at Tygerburg Hospital.

“I would like to start a book club for women of all ages. In that way will share our stories and motivate each other,” said the vivacious Mpho.

“This will be a book club but its focus would be wide ranging looking at matters affecting women,” she said.

With a background in physchology studies , Mpho, feels she is well suited to run this club.

“For me it’ s a way of sharing my knowledge with others so that we can build a better community,” she said.

“Our aim as womans is to try and make a world a better place. This book club is for all those who believe that it is possible to live our lives fully regardless of our present or past circumstances,” she siad.
