Attorneys to draft free wills

2017-08-24 06:00

During National Wills Week from 11 to 15 September, the public will get a chance to have a basic will drafted by an attorney free of charge.

Law firms throughout the country will be participating in this project

Firms will display posters with their contact details so that the public can make appointments with attorneys in their area.

The Law Society of South Africa (LSSA) says a valid will allows you to state who should inherit your assets and property.

It also allows you to appoint an executor of your choice for your estate including a guardian for your minor children.

The contact details of participating attorneys in the National Wills Week project can be accessed at www.LSSA.org.za.
