LETTER: Beware of the politician dressed in wolf’s armour

2016-05-12 06:00

Mankind will never see the end of trouble until lovers of wisdom hold political power or the holders of power become lovers of wisdom.

My advice to all is that you should keep your eyes open.

In this alert state you will see that despite the Constitutional guarantees, money gushes into politics and pollutes our democracy.

I am not against our supreme law but I can see that it’s being abused.

Beware of the dirty game called politics. It is the gentle art of getting votes from the poor and campaign funds from the rich by promising to protect the one from the other.

We don’t have to care about politicians’ sweet tongues.

Be wise when choosing local and national leaders.

Good leaders are like baseball umpires – they are almost unnoticed when doing their jobs right.
