Nyanga police have appealed to the community to help identify the body of an unknown man that was found in Browns Farm.

According the SAPS the gruesome discovery was made on Friday afternoon behind a house in Tsojane Street.

“Seemingly the deceased was shot at another location and collapsed at the back of the house. He sustained injuries on the right side jaw, hand and a bullet wound on the right inner thigh. The deceased is believed to be in his early twenties and was wearing a pair of grey all-star tekkies, red pants, black belt, navy blue track top and a black cap,” said spokesperson Captain Ntomboxolo Sitshitshi.

She said that enquiries were done but the residents claimed to have not heard nor seen anything and it also seemed the deceased was lying at the back of the house for two days. She urged anyone who may have any information regarding the case to contact Detective Constable Lutshete at 021 380 3320, 3380 6000 or 078 297 4573.
