Treasured Voices is a trio of visually impaired artists who seem to have taken their life-long challenge in their stride.

Vukile Bomela, Evelyn Siwa and Michael Kula make up the blind threesome group.

They have never looked back because of their disability and realising earlier on in life that they have a common challenge, they made use of their raw talent; their voices.

The name of their group is testimony to their resilience.

They have been honing these ‘treasured voices’ to eke out a living.

On Saturday, 26 November, Treasured Voices will be hosting a CD launch at the JL Zwane Centre, in NY2, in Gugulethu.

Titled Nqanda Yehova, the album promises to be full of gospel entertainment.

Tickets for the show will cost R100 for adults and R50 for children under 12 years of age.

The program will start at 13:00 till 20:00.

For further details and ticket sales, please contact Zimkhitha at 0610476346 or Mike at 0762065974.
