Komphela fancies another win at Cape Town Stadium

Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela targets another win when they face against Platinum Stars on Sunday afternoon.

Chiefs have decided to stage three of their home games this season in the Mother City, with their first match at Cape Town Stadium yielding a 2-1 victory over title rivals Bidvest Wits on December 19.

Next up is Dikwena, and Komphela expects the Amakhosi faithful to make their presence felt at the iconic 2010 World Cup stadium this weekend.

“We beat Bidvest Wits in our first home away from home fixture in the ‘Cape of Love & Peace’,” Komphela told the club’s website.

“We hope to continue our good results in the Cape against Dikwena We are looking forward to a great match and, of course, a win.

“Chiefs’ fans thrive on confidence. They will fully support their team even after losing in the Telkom Cup final, as they came in numbers to the Cape Town Stadium. We must just give them a win and the experience of watching Chiefs play.”

“We want our supporters to enjoy watching Chiefs. Football is not only a sport. At Amakhosi we are looking as well at the greater influence to the society. We want to affect lives in a broader sense of emotions and perspectives.”
