The Inter-School Cycling League (ISCL) returns back to the schools and pupils of Khayelitsha after a break of few months.

Organised by Bonga Ngqobane of the Bonga Org Cycling Academy and the league seeks to encourage cycling in the township.

“We want to promote the sustainable use of bicycles for recreation and get our cyclists to support their livelihood through sport,” said Bonga.

He said they were helping those who cannot afford to gain access to bicycles and improve their riding skills, bicycle maintenance skills, safety awareness and life skills.

“I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all riders and teams that have made the effort to be in this event this year 2016,” he said.

Bonga.Org Cycling Academy and The Answer Series are the main partners and drivers of the ISCL which was initiated 16 August 2014 as Inter-Schools Duathlon League later renamed.

The BCA team has been working hard to make sure the event becomes a success and ensures that all the routes are designed properly.

BCA and The Answer Series promise to organiser the best ever cycling event right in the heart of historically disadvantaged communities. The event takes place on Saturday August 13.
