Xolisani Nomeva Ndongeni will be an icing on the cake for the lovers of Boxing when two title fights occur in Cape Town in late May.

Nomeva, as Ndongeni is affectionately known by Boxing fans will be fighting a 10 round bout in a Lizani tournament that will feauture two South African title fights.

The Bhaca born but Gauteng based fighter will be bringing into the ring his 22 - 0 record, which is at stake against Ghanaian Razak Nattey.

Razak Nattey is a well known international campaighner who has 20 wins with only 4 loses under his belt.

Nomeva will be fighting in the Mother city for the time as the reigning 2016 Boxer of the Year Award winner.

In another highly contested match, Toto Helebe will face Gauteng’s Cebo Ngema for the third time in his career.

Ngema has lost twice in their previous encounters, but says he is now ready to take the national Bantamweight title.

His former manager Savva Savvas, said Helebe had told him that he is the king of the division until he relinguishes his title to fully campaighn in the Super Bantamweight Division.

The second title fight on the day sees Dalisizwe Komani challenging Thembelani Nxoshe for the SA Flyweight title.

The fight will see the defending Nxoshe fighting for the first time outside East London since he won the title.

Komani lost in his last bid to capture the WBF title fight two years ago against Mfundo Gwayana. This bout promises to be for the fans. Komani made it clear that he wont disappoint this time.

There will be other eight bouts:

Western Cape Featherweight title fight Tyson Essau (CTN challenger) vs Mtsepau Mthembu (Atlantis challenger), 4 rounds.

Strawweight Mzolisi Mthalane (CTN) vs Zusiphe Timakhwe (Atlantis), 4 rounds.

Jr flyweight Phila Mcanda (CTN) vs Onke Khanzi (NW), 4 rounds Bantamweight Lazola Jikazana (CTN) vs Sibusiso Mvetshane (NW) and 4 rounds Cruiserweight Ben Hipkin (CTN) vs Mfundo Wongo(CTN). The event will take place at Coetzenberg Sports Centre, on 28 May 2017 at 13h00. Admission is R100, 00.
