Suspects wanted for murder

Nyanga police are seeking public assistance in the solving the following murder cases.

On Saturday, 24 September 2016, a 16-year-old Azola Tika was allegedly several times at Gqoloma Street in Old Crossroads, said spokesperson Ntomboxolo Sitshitshi.

The victim was identified but the suspects are unknown. A second incident occurred at about 23:45 in Crossroads where a 28-year-old man was killed.

“He was allegedly shot while sitting in a vehicle waiting for his friend who was inside Tshisanyama Tavern in Old Crossroads. The friend heard two gunshots and ran outside then he saw an unknown man who fired four more shots at the deceased. The victim died in hospital,” she said.

The third incident occurred on Sunday as well at about 03:10 in Sweet Home Farms. “Here a 21-year-old victim was allegedly stabbed by a suspect called Anga Maqhaso,” said Sitshitshi.

She said that them is wanted and is on the run. “We appeal to the community members to continue to assist sharing information with the police to ensure these suspects are brought to book. Information can also be shared anonymously,”
