Playground Programme’s Sis Mbela Mini described the event as a great success.

“It was huge and everybody thta came enjoyed it. A big thank to all the participating speakers and organisations,” said Mini.

Head of Metro Police JP Smith, inspirational speaker and dance coach Sonwabo Bomvana and pro cricketer Thami Tsolekile gave words of encouragement to the children and parents who attended.

Master of ceremonies Luvuyo Mabuto kept everyone in attentive mood. The highlight of the day was when fire fighters and K9 Dog Unit demonstrated how they do their business.

Skaters from 2iB in Bonteheuwel also did their magic.

Mini also thanked Sofnitectic Fitness Programme and Great Corner Lugna Gatan for taking part.
