“Poverty is not ordained by God; it is caused by devil.” – Unknown.

Whether you believe it or not, it is up to you. But I think you ought to believe it and shake yourself out of your slumber.

Because you have been sleeping. You’ve been believing what everybody has been saying; that you are not the cause of your poverty. Someone else is. And that someone is whatever.

And you can’t argue with that, especially if it is political. Politics is judgemental. It is bullying. It does not give you free thought. It wants you to do as it says. It does not allow you to be your own boss.

And think for yourself. And argue things out. Think about them.

Suppose it was true, that poverty is caused by the devil. Which is true. But for some, it may not for reasons known to them.

Some of which is that it may put them out of business. They don’t want to be out of business. They want to be in the midst of things, so that they may reap the rewards of intimidation.

When you depend on an individual to rescue you, while you have the means to rescue yourself, you will remain where you are. Think about it; so many promises have been made.

“We will do this for you.” They are still doing it. And you can’t forget your lucky. You can’t forget individuals volunteering to do things for you. The question is; why don’t you do them for yourself?

The answer is simple: you are lazy. You don’t want to take responsibility for your life. Your poverty is not caused by you. It is caused by others. Someone once asked me, “Why are we poor?”

That someone who asked me that; is someone who blows his money as soon as he gets it. He goes out with friends. He buys them beer, and braai them meat. And it is fun all round the show. As soon as his money is gone, they desert him.

It is like as if he had no “friends.” Where are they? Gone. And when he is penniless, he can’t even buy himself a toilet paper. Not to mention food. Everyday, he has to be given a plate of food.

This is how the devil operates. It takes you away from your dream. It tells you dreams don’t work. Forget about them. Have fun. Enjoy life.

This is what it likes to say, enjoy life. Be loose. Be promiscuous. These are modern times. Everyone is doing it. Don’t be left behind. Do it too. You are now an adult. This is your life. Nobody has a right to tell you what to do. And you plunge into poverty. Forever gone.
