KZN colours for chess duo

DIANTHUS Primary School brother and sister, Serdhian Pillay and Shivalea Pillay, recently received their KZN colours for chess.

They participated in the three KZN trials held throughout the year in May, June and August.

Serdhian and Shivalea were victorious and received their KZN colours and will now represent KZN in the U12 and U8 teams at the South African Junior Championships in Cape Town from 3 to 11 January 2016.

The principal, staff and fellow pupils congratulated them on their achievement and wished them well for all their future games.
