THE Buffelsdale Secondary class of 1996 held their 20 year reunion on 17 December at the Latitude Convention Centre.

The function was arranged by Nishaan Suredin together with other ex-pupils including Michael Naidoo, Jessendren Pillay, Kubendren Naicker, Revashini Moodley and Sharlane Kandasamy. The reunion was a success with teacher Mrs SK Padayachee and former teacher Mrs KD Moodley also in attendance.

The former pupils of Buffelsdale Secondary raised a significant amount of cash as well during the planning process and presented the amount raised - R10 000 - to Buffelsdale Secondary for the school to use for upgrades and improvements.

Mrs SK Padayachee was grateful to receive these funds on behalf of the school and made an earnest appeal to former pupils and even members of the public to continue to assist the school in whichever way possible to maintain it to a standard conducive for on-going learning. - Supplied.
