CALYPSO Sporting continued with their good performance from the past week against Spain F.C in the indoor football league.

The match started as usual in full attack by Calypso Sporting, but the team took a littler longer than usual to settle down and get the first goal.

Spain F.C. were strong and also tried to break the deadlock but failed.

Calypso Sporting’s defenders were resilient and did not allow any goals to be scored. With the introduction of Keshev Naidoo from the bench, the team broke the deadlock and thereafter continued with the onslaught and scored regularly with some good ball work and inter-passing from the middle of the pitch.

The following players scored in both halves: Keshev Naidoo, Prehen Khomarsamy, Owen Coopsamy, Yasheen Hilton, Victor Mngomezulu and the captain Chappa Maphumalo.

The goalkeeper Venay Sookdhoo once again did a sterling job in making some crucial and important saves that saw Calypso Sporting convincingly winning the match by 12-1.

The manager of the team said the game was a sterling performance from the boys and was another all-round team effort from all players.
