Hirsch’s Homestore in Ballito recently held their monthly domestic workers’ training course, inspiring and empowering domestic workers on the North Coast, who got together at the store for the morning.

This month’s course focused on cooking with Nirasha Bodasing from Indigo Food Studio covering healthy lunch-box essentials, quick and easy meals in the oven and some sweet treats.
Hirsch’s Shane Spencer said Bodasing provided an interactive lesson getting the ladies to get stuck in and trying out recipes themselves so they can easily replicate them at home.
“Her business specialises in gourmet foods, delectable treats and food workshops – her workshops come highly recommended.”
Each lady received a completion certificate for attending the course, and a special recognition award was given to Tholakele Manqele who was announced the Domestic Worker of the Month.
She received a Hirsch’s voucher and will go into the draw for the Domestic Worker of the Year and stand a chance to walk away with a R5 000 Hirsch’s voucher, which will be announced at the final course of the year in December.

If you would like to attend the next course or nominate your domestic worker for the competition contactshane@hirschs.co.za or phone 032 946 7400. - Supplied.
