AN awareness programme on elder abuse was held at the Tongaat Library recently.

Guest speakers were Witness Masondo from DSD, Cllr Michael Abraham, Jeeva Pillay, president of Tongaat Civic, SAPS Warrant Officer R. Gounden and team and Devi Naidoo.

The programme was well received by attendants.

Seniors citizens listened attentively as the speakers gave information and tips about surviving as an elderly person.
