THE Tongaat Cricket Union participated in the KZNCU KFC Mini Cricket Festival held on Saturday 27 February 2016 at the Amamzimtoti Sports Club.

The young cricketers were treated to a fun filled morning of mini cricket were they were able to interact with some of the Dolphins players.

The Union has thanked Flambel Primary, Silverdale Primary, Mitchford Primary, Fairbreeze Combined, Mbonisweni Primary and Tongaat Lower Primary for their participation.

This week the union will hold its final mini cricket festival for the season at the Outspan Grounds commencing at 8.30am.

All primary schools have been invited but any children under the age of 9 who want to participate but did not make the school side are more than welcome to attend the festival where they will be placed in a combined team.

Parents can speak to head coach H Bux or KFC mini cricket co ordinator Chris Govender with regards to placing their children in combined teams to participate.
