Khoza is a voice of reason

2017-10-05 06:00

WHEN your integrity is more valuable that your salary cheque.

Dr Makhosi Khoza is a voice of reason that awoke the weak that were frightened to speak out.

A great leader is the one who can identify the problem and not shy away to point it out, and when she does and no one listens then she moves on somewhere.

She is one brave woman who cannot compromise her morals, dignity and principles.

Indeed, it’s better to quit with your integrity intact than to tap dance with the hungry hyenas and wolves.

She courageously held on to her convictions and the manifesto and brightly glowing fire of liberation in her spirit, the fire that fuelled the spirits of past ANC heroes and heroines.

She showed that some battles are not worth the blood and sweat.

She will go down in the history books as one of the few politicians who think with their brains and not their stomachs.

True cadres are never afraid to voice their concerns and it’s a pity that once a person raises concerns, and speaks the truth, they are victimised, discriminated against and become an enemy for everyone.

Moeletsi Mbeki is right: the ANC is just an empty shell full of high class thieves.

The ANC is walking in the shadow of its old self. It’s a dead party walking and cannot self-correct despite all the talk to the effect.

This reminds me of something I once read: “Nothing lasts forever, even the rulers of nations will perish.” Dr Makhosi Khoza is a beacon of hope.
