TWO Mountview Secondary School pupils, Robert
Mathenjwa and Abigail
Parbunath participated in the international round of the World Scholar’s Cup in Cape Town from August 11 to 15 and both did extremely well.

Abigail received gold and silver awards for debate, collaborative writing and qualified for participation at Yale University.

Robert was awarded gold for best debate team and the second best debater in the world.

The competition had over 800 participants from 32 countries.

The school congratulates both pupils for their outstanding performance.

The principal and staff and school governing body members expressed their heartfelt appreciation to the Vivian Reddy Foundation for the generous sponsorship towards the debaters’ participation.
