A NEW cricket season has begun and it’s going to be full of explosive games.

Maidstone Cricket Club extends our thanks and appreciation to all players from the juniors and seniors and their parents for all their assistance in the past seasons.

They also thanked the Tongaat Cricket Union for a great cricket season.

The Maidstone club has a rich history winning the league seven times in 11 seasons including four T20 tournaments.

The club would like to continue this into the future with lots of young talent being developed in the junior team.

Maidstone cricket club is looking for new young players from ages of nine to 12 to play for their junior team.

This is open to both boys and girls.

They train every week and the coaches help develop the skills of each player.

They look forward to the continued support from the community.

Residents are urged to come out and watch their games and get their children involved as well.
