PUPILS who participated in the Tamil Eisteddfod at the weekend under the Avvayyaarr Kalay Sangam (AKS) banner finished third.

Mrs Saro Moodley and Avvayyaarr Kalay Sangam (AKS) were thanked for assisting in training the pupils for the Tamil Eisteddfod.

The results were as follows:

Syamthanda Ngobese was placed first for the Nursery Rhyme, jointly with another.

Mbali Majavu was placed first for Dialogue.

Beveshen Reddy was place third for Sacred Song.

The Kolaatum, group dance was placed second.

Organisers congratulated all, including the others who have participated and were not positioned.

“They have all done Verulam proud. There were a few parents in attendance which was so heartening to see. We would like to thank every teacher for their patience and co-operation in this regard,” said a spokesperson. - Supplied
