THE Verulam Sunrise Yoga Group hosted its annual programme of reflection to bring 2015 to a close at Maathar Sangam Hall in Brindhaven, Verulam recently.

According to Ms Fakir the group has grown significantly following the success of the Verulam and Districts United Hindu Forum’s Verulam Day of Yoga.

Fakir thanked the yoga enthusiasts for their involvement and complimented the commitment of the management of the Maathar Sangam Hall to social upliftment and cohesion.

Yoga enthusiasts were invited to share personal testimonies which detailed the positive impact of yoga on their lives.

Master of ceremonies, Kannie Kisten said: "Whilst yoga exercises the body, it is an excellent tool to calm the mind and feeds the soul."

Kisten says these benefits have helped him in recoveries from spinal and knee operations.

The Verulam Sunrise Yoga Group have invited the community to its classes for the fun, interactive and stress reducing classes for 2016. Contact Ms Fakir on 0824168705.
