Treat for fathers

FATHER’S Day saw more than 30 Panthers’ members take part in the 10th Leg of the popular Thinnys League Challenge heading towards Westbrook along Watson Highway, with a few also doing the 20km run to Zimbali and back.

Temba led the 20km team,whilst Strini and Angie Chetty brought the 15km runners in.

At the finish the Panthers’ dads were treated to a special Father’s day breakfast while all the league participants were presented with t-shirts sponsored by Logan Govender of Jet Therapy and Beauty of Arbee Drive in Tongaat.

The executive and league co-ordinator sincerely thanks Mr Govender for his sponsorship.

The 11th leg of the Thinnys League Challenge will take place on Sunday 26 June at 6.15am heading towards the King Shaka International Airport.

The Tongaat South Youth League continues on Tuesdays and the Seatides Youth league on Thursdays at 4pm. All house wives and retirees are also welcome to join.
