USHAKA Sea World will be accepting applications for new volunteers to work as education guides.

If you are aged between 18 and 66, have a passion for marine conservation, have free time during the week or weekend, and can get to uShaka Sea World easily and are prepared to work for no salary, this could be for you.

No academic qualifications, biological or educational experience are necessary as you will receive comprehensive training.

What we do need is your enthusiasm for the sea and ability to communicate with people.

Speakers of all languages are welcome, although fluency in English is essential.

Presentations will be held on Wednesday, June 10 at 6pm and on Thursday, June 11th at 11am at the uShaka Sea World Education Centre.

For more details, contact Kathy Drummond on 031 328 8191 or email kdrummond@seaworld.org.za (office hours) .
