JUMP Youth Mission, a non-profit organisation, together with members of the community collaborated and embarked on a street evangelism project directed at drug users in the CBD of Verulam recently.
The project, which targeted Wick Street, was a success. This event focused on motivating victims of drugs by sharing the good news of hope and salvation by Pastor Daniel Siyenga and motivations by different people.
The project closed with meals being served to the people.
This event will be conducted once a month and also in other areas. Organisers are appealing to the public to partner with Jump to help foster this vision that will help combat and fight against drug usage and pebbling among the youths in the community.
