BERGVIEW Primary School held a fund-raising Wednesday recently and sold snacks, hotdogs and cool drinks and pupils were allowed to wear civvies to school.

The event was held to raise funds for a Grade 7 tour in August.
Some children chose to exercise rather than watch a movie which had been provided for them.
Hoola-hoops and skipping ropes were given out and the boys got busy with mini-rugby, practicing how to pass a ball.
A strong shower of rain fell, but this did not stop pupils from running and playing sports until their transport came to fetch them.
