Business burglar arrested, good returned

A 27-YEAR-OLD suspect was arrested for business burglary and stealing computers from Environment and Rural Solutions offices in Matatiele on Monday. The suspect allegedly broke windows to get entry into the offices.

Police spokesperson, Raphael Motloung said Prestige Security Guards, who guard the business, alerted police about the burglary.

Computers that were stolen include LG flat-screen, Asus flat-screen and three AOC flat-screen computers and a mouse, the total value is R25 000.

“The computers were returned to Environment and Rural Solutions,” said Motloung.

The suspect was charged with burglary business and possession of stolen property.

Environmental and Rural Solutions general manager Nicky McLeod thanked police for arresting the suspect.

“Overalls and work jackets were stolen from our offices a few weeks ago,” said McLeod.
