CAVALS Modelling Management Agency is hosting a get-together on May 6 to provide a platform for artists to showcase their musical talent.

Event organiser and founder of the agency, Asanda Phungula, said local artists do not get enough support from government departments and municipalities.

“We don’t want government departments and municipalities to exclude local artists at events. Young people of Kokstad are talented musically and we want them to get support,” said Phungula.

Siseko Xaba, Thando Sonqwenqwe and Ntlantla Kapok from Kosktad supported the idea of helping artists and said young people must stay away from drugs and substance abuse.

Artists who will perform at the event include T-Bo Touch, Minaizer, Cruel, Lungi M, Mal-Dee, Raspirator and others.
The Department of Sport and Recreation has sponsored a sound system for the event. Refreshments will be served.
