KOKSTAD Public Primary donated computers to 10 Kokstad preschools last Friday. The computers will be used mostly for the new South African School Administration and Management System (SA-SAMS), a computer application specifically designed to meet the management, administrative and governance of the school.

Each preschool received one computer.

According to Thandi Ntozakhe, the chairperson of the Greater Kokstad Pre-School Forum, Kokstad has 23 pre-schools and some do not have computers. “We are thankful for these computers and ask companies and businesses to keep donating to local preschools.”
Kokstad Public Primary Principal Sihle Mkhize said the school has many computers so instead of keeping them in the storeroom, they chose to donate to local preschools. He said the preschools feed Grade R pupils to Kokstad Public Primary along their education journey. -
