ON March 31, St Monica School embarked in a geography and cultural tour.
Pupils left from Matatiele on the way to Howick falls and moved to Drakensville up to Bloemfontein.

They saw the Boer War Museum outside Bloemfontein and learnt more about the history of the country.
At Drakensville, pupils went swimming and did some horse riding. The school was pleased with the pupils’ behaviour and thanked parents for participating.

Mr Ndebele, Mr Muller, Mr Maravu, Ms Hulley, Mrs Mandiwanzira and Ms Premchand received special mention.

Last Saturday, the U13 hockey girls participated in a tournament at Kokstad Junior School. They played three games.
The U13 rugby boys’ team played against Kokstad Junior School in the tournament. They won three games and drew one.
