ST Monica’s School has committed to instill Christian values in pupils and the school held a confirmation day in this regard recently.
The school’s chaplaincy department taught pupils about the confirmation of the sacrament at the event.

A total of 19 pupils were confirmed by Right Reverend Bishop Doctor Sithembele Mzamane assisted by Reverend Fr. Mafunda, the school chaplain Arch Deacon, Xhosana of Matatiele, Arch Deacon Qhali of Mount Fletcher, Diocesan Secretary Canon Chapa, Reverend Fr. David, Chairperson of the school board Reverend Fr. Ntseare of St Paul and the rector of St Mary’s, Reverend Fr. Cetywayo.

Bishop Mzamane gave a sermon about Christian faith and encouraged pupils to stick to their books. Pupils also took part in an Easter egg hunt. - Supplied.
