WITH the help of a technical engineer,
Siyabonga Zuma, a new recording studio, Zincume Music Production, in Umzimkhulu is helping young musicians to get their work recorded and demos done.

The studio was started by Sandisa Zincume in 2014, but was never successful because it didn’t have a technical engineer.

“I don’t want young people to go toDurbanor Johannesburgto record their songs. The studio will help musicians record songs and market their music to radio stations and on social media,” said Zincume.

The studio has signed gospel artist Ncumisa Mhlongo and musicians who sing traditional songs, gospel and Afro-soul.

On 20 July the studio is to host a music workshop where musicians will advise and share their knowledge about the music industry.

Zuma said he is happy to have the opportunity of producing songs for local musicians.

“I sing maskandi and want to promote this type of music in Umzimkhulu,” said Zuma.

Zincume Music Production is to arrange gigs so that local musicians will gain exposure in many areas.
