POLITICAL parties that have not removed their posters have 30 days to do so.

Greater Kokstad Municipal spokesperson Sabelo Ncwane has told political parties to remove all their posters.

“The municipality has written letters to political parties telling them to remove posters. If a party fails to do so a penalty of R50 per poster is going to be charged. Parties must comply with municipal by-laws,” said Ncwane.

Dumisani Dlamini of EFF said the party is going to comply with the warning.

ANC election co-ordinator Phumzile Nocanda said only some posters were removed after elections, but promised to remove all posters in Kokstad and surrounds.
