BUSINESSMAN Clinton Crawley said “nothing beats the best” when he financially supported Kokstad rugby player Emmanuel van Wyhe (18), who goes to Mauritius from Tuesday October 3 to October 10 with the Southern KwaZulu-Natal (SKZN) U18 rugby team.

Last Friday, Emmanuel and Sharks Academy General Manager met
Crawley
at work - CO Valve and Piping in Kokstad - to give support to Emmanuel’s trip.

“I supported Emmanuel’s trip because he is dedicated in rugby, unlike other young people who do drugs. I don’t want his dream to die,” said Crawley

The trip required R25 500 for each rugby player to go to Mauritius.

On September 8, Fever published Emmanuel’s story when he asked for donations, and the support he received is much appreciated by Sharks Academy General Manager, Andrew Binikos.

Binikos thanked Fever who showed interest in Emmanuel’s future.
“The academy’s focus is to look after young people from the South Coast, Kokstad and other areas, to further their dreams in rugby by giving comprehensive training.”

He asked people to visit www.thesharksacademyskzn. co.za or info@thesharksacad emyskzn.co.za for further details.

Emmanuel thanked sponsors and the Fever for their support.
“I thank everyone who supported me and I will not disappoint my sponsors who want me to fly high. My friends, family and trainers are behind my success.”
