AMAZULU coach Steve Barker welcomed the return of Usuthu captain Robyn Johannes ahead of yesterday’s NFD clash with Milano United in Cape Town.

The former Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns defender has shaken off a knock that kept him out of his team’s previous two games.

“Robyn has been great at the back for us. He has led the team well and it will be good to have him back and I’m happy that he has recovered,” Barker told the club’s website.

Barker, however, was minus experienced striker Ayanda Dlamini, who was sent off in a 1-0 win over Black Leopards last time out.

“It was a great win but as I have always said, we need to find continuity in winning. As we travel away from home we will have to push hard and it is unfortunate that we will be missing Ayanda Dlamini,” Barker added.

Before the game the Durban-based outfit were fifth on the table with 12 points from eight games - four points ahead of 11th-placed Milano.

There was no result from the game before Hammarsdale Echo went to press. - Supplied.
