THE female jazz ensemble Heels over Head will perform at the Government House on Unisa’s Pietermaritzburg campus on Friday 15 May at 7pm.

Band members are Thulile Zama (vocals), Nomkhosi Mazibuko (vocals), Chillie Stent-Wardell (guitar), Mandy Cobbing (keys), Lee Ngidi (bass) and Rebekah Doty (drums).

Heels over Head’s skills have won them fans and respect wherever they go and this is the long-awaited return to Pietermaritzburg. The performance will be a fun and groovy mix of originals and arrangements.

Their arrangement of Ntyilo Ntyilo and You Are Everything will give listeners a peak into their jazz backgrounds.

Songs like Njabulo and Positive Zouk will get the crowd off their seats.

Other favourites to look forward to are Love Song and Dreams.
