BETHLEHEM. – Free State Stars have offered a third Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) player a trial in the PSL in the person of Uganda international striker Frank Kalanda. revealed recently that URA midfielders Yasser Mugerwa and Said Kyeyune were both undergoing trials with Orlando Pirates this week.

According to media reports in Uganda, Kalanda is also in South Africa for an assessment by Ea Lla Koto, who have lost Camaldine Abraw to either Bloemfontein Celtic or Kaizer Chiefs pending the outcome of a PSL Dispute Resolution Chamber hearing.

The Uganda Cranes striker scored nine domestic league goals for URA last season and also netted against the Buccaneers in the CAF Confederation Cup, along with Mugerwa.

“The clubs have been following them for a long time and when they sent the invitations, it was clear the clubs required their services.

“We wish them the best,” the players’ agent, Geofrey Ssolo Kayemba, said.

Stars – who have a reputation for scouting decent overseas players – are also having a look at Tanzanian midfielder John Bocco as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2015-’16 season
