Player ‘not demanding money’

2015-06-10 06:01

THE agent of Free State Stars striker Moeketsi Sekola has rubbished claims that the player has been demanding a big salary from the club.

The player’s representative, Ratshibvumo Mulovhedzi of Rush Hour Sports Management, insists that the 2014-’15 PSL top scorer with 14 goals has not been making demands to Ea Lla Koto after his fine season and reported interest from the big clubs, most notably Kaizer Chiefs.

“I would like to clear the air about my client Moeketsi Sekola,” Mulovhedzi says.

“Some reports claim that Moeketsi has been demanding money from the club and that is not true. The chairman, Mike Mokoena, and the technical staff are happy with his contribution.

“Sekola even received a call from the chairman after the end of the season and the chairman told him that he is an important part of the team, so the player and myself have decided that the player is staying with the team for next season.

“We will meet the club next week to discuss the way forward,” Mulovhedzi adds.
