Police need help

THE Galeshewe police are appealing to the community to assist them with information regarding a “hit and run” accident that left a woman hospitalised.

According to the police, the incident took place in Seleke Street in Galeshewe on Saturday (17/10) at about 23:35.

“It is alleged that Elizabeth Williams was hit by a car and the driver failed to stop.

“She sustained injuries and was taken to the Kimberley Hospital for medical treatment,” stated Sgt Majang Skalkie.

Anyone who has information regarding the incident is asked to contact Det.Sgt Brian Williams on 082-469-0544 or 053-807-6000.

All information provided to the police will be treated as strictly confidential.
