OVER R2,4 million is up for grabs at the Goldfields Casino Slots Factor Tournament. The Slots Factor is one of Tsogo Sun’s most exciting promotions, where slot enthusiasts stand a chance to take home a lot of money if Lady Luck is on their side. Now in its third year, this blockbuster promotion makes its way to Welkom’s Goldfields Casino with qualifying rounds. This has been running from 20 July and will be held until 13 September from 12:00 to 22:00 daily.

“Slots are the simplest and most popular of the casino games and with such a low buy-in, great returns are inevitable.

“The only objective is to win the jackpot while competing with other slot machine fans all over the country,” says Dennis de Beer, the Goldfields Casino’s general manager.

To qualify, guests need to head to the Slots Factor Tournament Bank and register. Cardholders are required to present their cards at registration. Once registered, guests need to play the slots on the Goldfields Casino gaming floor at a R100 buy-in.

The top two credit earners for the day will be awarded with FreePlay, and 50 top score earners will get a chance to participate in the semi-finals on 19 September at the Goldfields Casino. Finalists from the semi-finals will participate in the group finals on 26 September at the Suncoast Casino in Durban where they stand a chance to win the R1 million first prize.

The Tsogo Sun’s popular Slots Factor Tournament is in its third year running offering a huge cash prize, a whopping R2,4 million in prize money and a guaranteed first prize of R1 million.

The slots tournament has been in full swing since 20 July and continues till 26 September across Tsogo Sun’s 14 casinos accross the country.

This year, Tsogo Sun has introduced packaged buy-ins, which include R200 for two tournament entries and R50 in Casino FreePlay, and R500 for five tournament entries and R150 in Casino FreePlay, valid for the day of play only.

Also new this year, the participant obtaining the highest score from a single buy-in or heat at each casino over the eight-week period will qualify for the grand finals at the Suncoast Casino without having to play off in the individual casino finals.

The winner last year, Janet Barrows from Jan Celliers Park in Welkom, representing the Goldfields Casino, walked away an instant millionaire.
