You have the power of God in you

we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12

We have to partake in God’s power, He who is effortlessly faultless.

He speaks through Paul in Ephesians 6:10 when He says “we are to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might”. The power of God changes lives.

Any power we allow into our lives, changes us either negatively or positively. The spirit in us is who we are and that is our destiny. Christ says if we do not eat His flesh or drink His blood then we are not part of Him. The power of God is what distinguishes us from others.

We are to put on the armour of God, because we don’t fight against flesh and blood but against powers and principalities who are diligent in perpetrating evil to destroy lives. There is power behind prayers being answered. The first thing to consider is the environment in which we are praying.

Look for a mountain, and lift up your eyes unto the hills and not unto the valley, otherwise, help will not come from above. Psalm 121:1: “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.”

Praying on the mountain means we are going to be on top.

Christ was on Mount Tabor and was transfigured. The power of God is at work in our lives. Power through which we can do anything. If we don’t pray for the power of God, our lives are endangered. Inside power is wisdom, riches and long life.

Prayer point: Call the blood of Jesus three times, His name once and pray: “Powers that don’t like me but are around me, powers that are dangerously attacking me and disturbing my peace, Lord God Almighty, cast them out of my system, in Jesus’s name.”

Word of wisdom: “When you are not conscious of your conscience, you lose your content.” – Tim Omotoso
