Celtic desperate to improve

2016-10-12 06:00

BLOEMONTEIN CELTIC are desperate to end their dismal run which sees them hovering at the bottom of the Premiership table with a single point.

Celtic take on Platinum Stars in a tough fixture on Saturday (15/10), hoping to turn around things. The tough encounter will be played at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium.

Phunya Sele Sele are winless in three matches, of which in two of those games they donated maximum points against Lamontville Golden Arrows and Maritzburg United.

Celtic earned the single point in the derby against Free State Stars.

The club’s lacklustre run has head coach Serame Letsoaka under immense pressure to turn around the dismal run.

It is wait and see if changes to the club’s technical team will help the team’s internal crisis. Changes to the technical team saw Morena Ramorebodi roped in as assistant coach, replacing Duncan Lechesa and Lehlohonolo Seema, who have been both deployed to the team’s reserve side. The pair served as joint assistant coaches to Letsoaka.

While Celtic will be striving to achieve stability, their opponents, Platinum Stars, will look to improve. The North West side boasts five points in the bag, two draws, a win and one loss after four league matches played thus far.
