SOUTH AFRICA and the world-conquering a cappella group The Soil is offering aspiring future singers in the Free State a once-in-a-lifetime chance to perform in a dress rehearsal of the group’s show in Bloemfontein.

The three-member group is set to offer music lovers in Bloemfontein a taste of homebrew sounds when performing at Pacofs on 25 June.

Forming part of developing talent in South Africa, the special concept to give future singers a chance to perform on stage ahead of the group’s main show is to complement the positive response the group is enjoying in South Africa.

To stand a chance to perform as dress rehearsal act at the Bloemfontein show, those interested are requested to up-load their YouTube video (one each per act) on the group’s social media page for audition.

The chosen act in the video gets the slot to perform before the main show of the three-member group. They can upload the video on the page: https://www.facebook.com/thesoilkasisoul/?fref=nf

The show in the Free State capital is part of the #Experience The Soil Tour, in nine cities, one per province in South Africa.

The award-winning a cappella group kick-started the tour in April in Durban and is heading to the City of Roses.

Their offering of distinct music blended with naturally click sounds, showcasing their rich talent has seen the group transcend the music industry, enjoying a large following.

The band says the nine cities tour had been inspired by the overwhelming response from fans and also the abundance of talent noted during the search for a female vocalist to stand in for Buhle Mda earlier this year.

The search ended with newfound vocalist Theo Matshoba, who will feature at the show in Bloemfontein.

Tickets are available at Pacofs for R150 per booking and R180 at the door on the day of the show.

The show is scheduled to start at 19:30.

People interested in making bookings and purchase tickets can call 051-447-7772.
